Operations Manager

Assignment and takeover: INVOICED, OM VALIDATE, TAKEN

Everything starts with the Travel Designer: they confirm the trip, which from that moment is defined as INVOICED, and assign it to an Operations Manager.

As soon as they receive the assignment, the Operations Manager immediately runs the consistency check on the itinerary (see section 1), even if arrival is far off. Once the check is complete, they set the trip file to OM VALIDATE.

Only then comes the takeover, which is explicit: with the TAKEN command, the Operations Manager signals that they are starting to book the services. This gives a precise date for when execution begins.

The order is always the same: INVOICED (confirmation and assignment) → OM VALIDATE (consistency verified) → TAKEN (bookings begin).
